78th Independence Day celebration

The 78th Independence Day celebration at Kasturba Public School, Chirakkal, on August 15, 2024, commenced at 9:00 AM, attended by the Principal, teachers, students, parents, and staff. The program began with a prayer, followed by the flag hoisting by Principal Mrs. Malini, during which students sang "Vande Mataram." The school captain then led the flag salute. Mrs. Malini delivered an official address highlighting this year's theme, "Vikshit Bharat" (Developed India), inspiring all to contribute to national progress. Students presented speeches in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, showcasing their linguistic skills and patriotism. Teacher Mrs. Nadiya Vijayan also shared her insights on the significance of independence and development. The celebration included cultural performances, starting with a patriotic song by UKG children and a house-wise patriotic song competition, culminating in the National Anthem. Sweets were distributed among attendees, fostering a spirit of unity and joy. This event not only commemorated our freedom but also reinforced the collective responsibility towards building a developed India.
