ONAM CELEBRATION 2024

Onam, the annual harvest festival of Kerala, was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervor at Kasturba Public School on 13/09/2024. The event aimed to promote cultural awareness, teamwork, and community bonding among students, teachers, and staff.

Preparations:

1. Decorations: Students and teachers worked together to create intricate flower arrangements in the school.
2. Traditional Attire: Students and teachers dressed in traditional Kerala attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.
3. Cultural Events: Students performed thiruvathira and folk art performances( Pulikali)

Celebrations:

1. Pookalam Competition: Students from different squads competed to create the most beautiful flower arrangements.
2. Onappattu: Squad wise onappattu competition was conducted in the school 
3. Cultural Events: folk art demonstrations.
4. Payasam: Students and staff enjoyed payasam which added more sweetness to the program.
Highlights:

1. Chief Guest: Mrs.Malini SV, Principal, Kasturba Public School, inaugurated the celebrations.
2. Mr.Sadarudheen (Director ) and Mr. Pradheepan (Manager)  felicitated during the function.

Participation:

1. Student Participation students from LKG to XII participated in various events.
2. Teacher Participation: All teachers contributed to the organization and execution.

The Onam celebration at Kasturba Public school was a resounding success, fostering unity, cultural awareness, and teamwork among students, teachers, and staff.
