WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025

05/06/2025, World Environment Day was celebrated in the school with various activities. The program started with a special assembly conducted for the students of classes 5 and 6. The plants brought by the students were exhibited during the assembly. Dakshina. S. Dinesh of class 7 sang a theme song, and a speech on the importance of Environment Day was presented by Sheza Madani. T of class 10. An oath-taking ceremony was there to promote awareness about a drug-free environment, which was led by Muhammed Faheem of class 10. The principal, Mrs. Malini S. V., addressed the students with a speech on the importance of banning plastics, preventing pollution, and also making our environment green. An activity was given to the students to paste green leaves on a tree within a chart as a part of the celebration.

A session of Eco club inauguration was there, which was done by planting a sapling by the principal. The eco club organized a slogan-writing competition for students of classes 7 and 8. After the assembly, the Eco Club members and teachers went for a nature walk to the nearby places of Chirakkal Chira.

The program was successful in accomplishing the mission of creating awareness on putting an end to plastic pollution.
