Dolphin Awareness Conservation Programme

The Dolphin Awareness Conservation Programme was successfully conducted to raise awareness among students about the importance of conserving dolphins and protecting aquatic biodiversity.As a part of this programme the following activities were carried out by the students and staff of Kasturba Public School.

1. Pledge for Dolphin Conservation. All the students from 6th to 8th and staff took a solemn pledge to protect dolphins and other aquatic animals, promising to avoid pollution of water bodies and to spread awareness about marine conservation.
2. Educational video screening. An informative video on the life of dolphins, their ecological role , threats they faced and conservation efforts was shown. The video helped participants understand the importance of preserving dolphin habitat and inspired them to take action.
3. Painting competition: - A painting competition was organized for the students of classes 6th to 8th, where they creatively expressed their thoughts on dolphin conservation. It reflected deep understanding and concern for marine life, showcasing both artistic skill and environmental awareness.
