Ruchipperuma

Kasturba Public School organized a local food festival based on the lesson " Bhakshanavum Arogyavum " from the 9th-grade Malayalam textbook. The program 'Ruchipperuma'was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. School Principal Smt. Malini S.V. inaugurated the exhibition, speaking about the benefits of local food and the drawbacks of fast food culture. About 50 students prepared and brought various traditional Kerala dishes, showcasing their culinary skills. The program aimed to promote local food, understand its nutritional benefits, and raise awareness about the importance of traditional eating habits in preventing lifestyle diseases. It also highlighted the disadvantages of the new food culture.
