WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION

Our school celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm on 5th June 2026. A special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion. The Principal Dr. Shaji Alungal Jose delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and the role of students in protecting nature.

As a part of the celebration, saplings were planted in the school premises to promote greenery and environmental awareness. Various competitions were organized for students. Students of classes I to V were encouraged to plant a sapling at their homes and share photographs of the activity in their respective class groups. Placard making competition was held for classes 6th and 7th while poster making competition was conducted for classes 8th and 9th. Students actively participated and showcased their creativity through meaningful environmental messages.

A quiz competition based on environmental issues and conservation was also conducted to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness. An environmental awareness campaign was conducted by the students of class 7th. They visited each classroom and shared messages on the importance of protecting the environment, reducing waste and adopting eco-friendly practices.

The celebration was a great success and helped spread the message of protecting and preserving our planet for future generations.
