INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2026–27
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted with great pride and dignity at Kasturba Public School, Chirakkal, Kannur, on Monday, 10th August 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The programme was held at Block C of the school.
The ceremony was organised to formally induct the newly elected members of the Student Council and to entrust them with their respective responsibilities. The event reflected the school's commitment to developing leadership qualities, discipline, responsibility, character and a spirit of service among students. The programme was based on the school's guiding values: Inspiring Leadership, Building Character and Serving Society.
The function was honoured by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sreerag K., Sub Inspector of Police, Valapattanam. The school management, Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, PTA representatives, students and parents were present on the occasion.
The ceremony began with a formal gathering of the school community. The newly elected Student Council members were introduced and officially invested with their responsibilities. They took the oath of office, pledging to carry out their duties with sincerity, dedication and responsibility. The investiture symbolised the trust placed in them by the school and their fellow students.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and inspired the newly elected office bearers to become responsible and disciplined leaders. The importance of leadership, commitment, teamwork and service to society was highlighted. The students were encouraged to lead by example and work for the welfare of the entire school community.
The Principal, Dr. Shaji Alungal Joseph, along with the management and other dignitaries, congratulated the newly elected Student Council members and wished them success in their new responsibilities. The programme provided a valuable opportunity for students to understand that leadership is not merely a position of authority but also a commitment to duty and service.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and responsibility among the student leaders. The newly elected office bearers expressed their determination to uphold the values and reputation of Kasturba Public School and to serve the school community with dedication throughout the academic year 2026–27.
